"Gimme indie rock" was an anthem for anglophone record store clerks everywhere in the early nineties.I can even recall some loser of my acquaintance having a poster designed for his shop featuring the slogan emblazoned across the chest of a K records-looking geek-boy.Happy memories. The words are a bit crap, though, aren't they? It's an iron law:pop lyrics don't work on the page.
